A beautiful Fire Opal Gemstone from Lake County, Oregon is tucked into the little fork of the sterling silver twig ring shank.

This variety of Fire Opal does not contain the flashes of light and color typical of other opals, but instead displays an orange that is due to fine traces of iron oxide.  

The Aztec culture held that a stone with this fire and beauty had to have originated in the seas of Paradise.
