My hand pierced sterling silver pine trees, overlayed onto a "Marriage of Metals" of bronze full moon and sterling silver teardrop are inspired by the view from our kitchen window as the full moon rises over Oha Ridge.
I made these with a technique called Marriage of Metals. The full moon, depicted by the bronze moon married, by way of hard solder to the sterling silver teardrop. I then soldered my hand pierced pine trees over the front of the moon.
Earrings measure at about 1" long x 1/2" wide at its widest point. They hang approximately 1 1/2" from the tops of the sterling silver ear wires.
