Bolo Ties are a very stylish way to dress up an outfit.
Designed for the stylish, unique individual, I hand fabricated this Bolo Tie from a Mokume Gane alloy of Argentium Silver and Copper.
The arrowhead shape is enhanced with the agate type of pattern of the Mokume Gane and features a bezel set Black Star Sapphire. I hand forged and fabricated the tips from Mokume Gane sheet, keeping the theme unique with beautiful contrasting textures and colors.
Mokume Gane is an ancient Japanese metal working procedure that laminates mixed metals of contrasting colors by a process of intense heat and pressure. The resulting metal sheet has a beautiful and unique wood grain pattern.
The leather cord measures at approximately 40 inches in length to the bottom of the tips.
The Arrowhead motif measures at 1 1/2" long x 1" wide at the widest point.
