Wild Iris is probably my favorite of our Sierra wildflowers. They’re so delicate, and their blooms are fleeting, but the violet petals with touches of pale yellow and white are so beautiful.
The first time I saw Ametrine gemstones, the Wild Iris immediately came to mind. The color transitions from violet amethyst to yellow citrine within a single quartz are so captivating, just like the Wild Iris. So, when I was able to get my hands on some, I was really excited to create these earrings with them.
