This necklace is part of my Alpine Collection, a salute to our beautiful natural world, inspired by  life in the Eastern Sierra.
I tried to capture the serene beauty of nature with my combination of piercing and overlay techniques in this pendant.
A majestic Osprey, carefully hand sawn from bronze, soars over a sterling silver lake with contrasting copper shoreline that I embossed for texture.  A sleeping beauty turquoise stone sits above the Osprey to depict the sun.
Each piece is hand drawn, hand sawn, layered and soldered so that no two pieces are exactly alike. 
Hand fabricated from Sterling Silver, bronze and copper with a bezel set Sleeping Beauty Turquoise stone.  
This pendant measures approximately 1" x 1" and hangs from a 20 inch sterling silver chain.
