The Blue Sponge Coral is a beautiful shade of blue in a long heart shape, and hangs from my hand fabricated sterling silver riveted hinges.
These earrings hang approximately 1 3/4 inches from the top of sterling silver lever back ear wires.
The Blue Sponge Coral that I used in these earrings is farmed coral, which involves extracting a part of a coral colony or free-floating larvae from a reef, and growing them in a nursery. It is referred to as the "gardening method" . Therefore, these coral pieces do not negatively impact the environment.
